Arbetsgivaralliansen is an independent confederation for Swedish employers such as sporting and educational associations. The organisation has the main goal to negotiate collective agreement for their members as well as help them with the implementation of the labour law.
Arbetsgivaralliansen has signed 3 National Collective Agreements in the sport sector which are for ice–hockey players, for professional football players and for the not-for-profit sport.
In Sweden, the social dialogue, which is subject of a national regulation, is a tradition and the first discussions in the sport sector dates back to the 70’s.
The European level represents for the Swedish social partners a natural evolution and Arbetsgivaralliansen is an active member of the European Association of Sport Employers (EASE) and involved in the European Social Dialogue Committee (ESSDC) for the Sport and Active Leisure sector supported by DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.
