Hungarian University of Physical Education – Testnevelési Egyetem (HUPE)

The University of Physical Education, Hungary is the largest, the most comprehensive and the oldest centre for education and training in sport and physical activity in Hungary with 91 years of history, originally established as the Royal College of Physical Education in 1925. The University has 2.400 students, 100 full-time and 100 part-time instructors.

On a national level the University has a sports policy forming role in close cooperation with all stakeholders of sport/physical activity. Additionally, when national level scheme and documents on education in sports/physical activity are developed, the university experts are the key contributors. Research activities cover the entire human life-span and key sport science themes.
